That’s a wrap! 2024 flew by with much exciting news and global growth at sunday. Here’s (almost) everything that happened this year and what to look forward to in 2025.

We caught up with Matteo Ciancio, General Manager at Circolo Popolare, an Italian trattoria in the heart of Fitzrovia serving over 600 guests on a daily.

Set a stone’s throw from the Canal Saint-Martin, across 2 floors in a 350sqm space, Gros Bao serves up some of Paris’ hottest Chinese food. With quite a few tables to tend to, giving guests the option to pay with their mobile phone, split the bill how they like is a real time saver and allows staff to focus on service. It’s no wonder, Gros Bao (and it’s two sister restaurants) are scoring high on sunday+!

With just a third of people choosing to pay with sunday, the team have seen their online presence skyrocket. For the months prior to sunday+, Giorgio was getting approximately 60 positive monthly reviews (4 stars and above) on Google. Today, this number is well above 400! Imagine the possibilities if everyone paid through sunday?

Kanada-Ya have been one of sunday’s longest standing UK restaurants, now serving the fastest way to pay in 5 sites across London. They've since upgraded to sunday+reviews and results have been astounding!
