That’s a wrap! 2024 flew by with much exciting news and global growth at sunday. Here’s (almost) everything that happened this year and what to look forward to in 2025.

July 8, 2024 - Trivec, a major player in POSes for restaurants, bars, and hotels, and sunday, the leader in restaurant payments, are partnering to offer a product that will simplify the lives of servers. HandyPay is Trivec's all-in-one solution that combines the features of an ordering pad and a payment terminal in a single device. With ordering and payment on the same pad, every server using Trivec will save dozens of trips back and forth per day.

May 2024 - sunday, the payment solution designed for restaurants, announces its partnership with Hey Pongo, the marketing tool dedicated to restaurateurs, enabling them to build customer loyalty. Through this partnership, sunday will integrate the simple loyalty solution into its PDQ and QR code terminals, allowing restaurateurs to integrate an average of 30% of their customers into their loyalty program.

February 20, 2024 - sunday,sunday, the payment solution for restaurants launched by Victor Lugger, Tigrane Seydoux and Christine de Wendel announced the appointment of Arnaud Lemaire as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Arnaud has been with the company since its launch in 2021 and will bring his exceptional technological expertise to the company's development and oversee a team of around fifty people based in France, the United States, and Spain.

May 2023 - Launched two years ago, sunday, the fastest way to pay at restaurants using a QR code, is adding a new feature to its app dedicated to online reviews and customer feedback. With two-thirds of people* looking at online reviews before going to a restaurant and it being the number one reason for choosing a restaurant for those under 40, sunday allows all restaurateurs to improve their online reputation and manage it very simply.
